buttom Cart in the Main Menu

I have a question, is possible eliminate the icon and the buttom CART in the main menu ?
I dont need this option because the products will not be sold and we only need a catalog of books.
Also the menu in this page is damaged.

The simple way is add custom css code for your site. For example:

.widget_cart_search_wrap {
display: none;
}
