  No option to change limit string of excerpt in menu layout, default number is 90.This case you need to customize code of theme. For example:
  
  laboom\vc_templates\cms_grid–layout-menu.php

  I don’t know what did you do on your site. But you can fix that issue by simply way, use below css code:
  
  .content-desc span {
  color: #fff!important;
  }
