      When I activate the theme, I get the error message:

      Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /wp-content/themes/wp-hammer/inc/template.functions.php on line 341

      I don’t get the same error with the other themes.

      To help you with this issue I need to check your FTP+wp-admin. Please provide your FTP+wp-admin login details to move further with this issue. Don’t forget to mark reply as private below if you share any sensitive data.

      Moreover: that issue will automatically solved if you can upgrade the PHP version to PHP 5.6.x or 7.x.
