Help me please!

I have purchased this theme and I am trying to modify the home page. The current homepage with default stuff scrolls through many pages. How do I modify this? I have tried delete all pages except for home page but they are still there. ITs like the entire website is in a single page. Where do I change this?

Also, I added an about us page, have published the changes, but I still only see the loren ipsom stuff.
