Hi there
I have purchase the Coursaty – Courses | Education WordPress Theme” in February and we are on the process of customisation. As I need a membership area, I purchase the “Ultimate Membership Pro WordPress Plugin” from Envato. However my IT personnel is having difficulties in making it work, he said there was a problem with the theme an only the author could resolve. Two month went by and I cannot find an answer.
My IT support tried the Ultimate Membership Pro” plugin on other similar WP themes and all worked perfectly. We ended up resetting the page half way through customisation.
Could you please try to solve to make this two work together?

Many Thanks

Hello
There were many problems during the attempt to integrate Ultimate membership plugin. Apparently this theme has lots of functional errors.
At the beginning the Membership facility was not matching with this theme. Home page layout disappeared.
My support team work a whole day and night to try to fix it but the theme had so much crash function in inner code that they cannot fix it.
My IT support said that the main problem was in your theme function.
If you try to register in your theme that function is not working as it should work by theme default.
My IT support setup and tested some other similar theme, and they worked properly all function it has.
When trying to install Membership pro plugin and activate the plugin then going to edit member page and other pages it’s showing “HTML ERROR 500”. This error shows when some function conflicting each other.
Other theme’s main problem is when you would try to register as a user with register page doesn’t work. Also theme doesn’t have any user interface. Basically it should be working by theme default.
Once some problems were solved and membership plugin was finally installed we had another problem: The theme was not responding to select membership plugin pages.
Now we are getting the problem with menu select and home page disappeared. Many thanks for your help.

Thank you for your help with debugging the site. My team will start working on my project again tomorrow.
In the mean time, just another question.
I would like to have a second search on the menu bar, “Destination” as the search per “Courses”, whereby once you point the mouse on the course tab a box of all courses categories appears leading to a list of courses of each category.
So, a second search “Destination” search on menu tab whereby pointing the mouse on it a box of all destinations would appear leading the a list of the courses of each destination, in the same way it happens on the courses categories.Do you think it is possible??? Could you, the author, include this for me?
Regards
Lourdes

I would like my client be able to search for Courses either by category or location. the search for courses per category is already there. I would like to have another facility on the menu bar were client can find courses per location.
I though this would be possible as there is a search box,on the home page, by category and location drop-down to chose from.
why can this not be done???

Sorry Sen I don’t know how to screenshot it for you to see. However I can explain…
When you hover the mouse over the “courses” on the menu bar, a box of categories will appear, when you click on any category this will lead you to the list of courses from that category. isn’t it???
I would like to have another similar search box beside the courses by category one, in this case, however, with the location search, whereby all the locations will appear (Instead of category), and if you click on any location, this would lead you to the list of courses on that location.
I hope I managed to make my point clearer. please let me know if it was of any help..

Hi Sen.
Not really. I don’t think you understood my message.
I want to create another menu item similar to courses search widget but in this new research widget the search for Courses would be by Location instead of categories.
I want to have two search widgets on the menu bar, one search by category and another by location. How can I replicate the courses search widget by category and adapt it for location???
Many thanks

Hi Sen, Sorry if I cannot be any clearer. let try again. please see the link above.
This is the box with all the courses categories when you hover over the menu tap “Courses”.
I would like to Create another one of this search widgets to search course per location. I would like this to appear on the menu bar just on the right of “Courses”.
Is there a way to create another search widget so that the client can also search for courses per location as it is per category already.

Dear Sen
Thank you very much for your support so far, I managed to do it just fine. Thank you for point it out.
There is another issue that I need some help. I notice there are different course page options within the Theme.
1) One for free online courses whereby there is no price and the clients is directed straight onto the content, lesson, quiz etc etc. OK
2) One for the paid online courses whereby the clients are directed to the check out once they click on the “Buy this course” and them redirected to the actual online course content and lesson. OKHowever I would need a 3rd course page option a bit different than the once already available.
I need to add another course page option for off-line courses, with a static overview information page, a static curriculum information page, and a static School details information page, just to display courses information, without the online lessons, quiz, questions and tests. See link bellow.
How can I create a course page option for display of information only, for courses off-line as per my requirements?

Maria DoKeymasterHi there
You can only use All course page extra options that available in our theme. If you want to have more extra options for course page, you have to custom code of theme. You can custom code of our theme, but you need to have the knowledge about PHP, HTML, CSS language to do next custom. And keep them when you update theme.
Thank you!
