1. Please export all your silder

2. delête old plugin

3. reinstall new slider modules

4. import agian your slider

And show it in your pages with block

Hello Harry, thanks for your explanation.. However, running into problems both with the old version and the new version:

in the old version:
you select export for a slider, you then get a screen asking ‘include all files?’, whether I select this or not, once I press export I get an empty screen and nothing is exported? Or does it save exports on the server somewhere? It certainly doesn’t save anything to my computer. Or is there a setting in the module that saves to a non-existing place which I can alter?

in the new version:
– if I select ‘new slider’, whenever I try to save that new slider I get a pop-up box saying: “error, Ajax error!”
– if I select ‘import slider’, and then try to select one of the example sliders for version 5.4, I get a totally white error screen with this message: {“success”:false,”message”:”wrong ajax action: “}

after attemting to update I am getting the following error:

PDOException: SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table ‘cavh_test.revslider_options’ doesn’t exist: SELECT tb1.* FROM {revslider_options} tb1 WHERE ( (autoload = :db_condition_placeholder_0) ); Array ( [:db_condition_placeholder_0] => yes ) in RevSliderDB->executeSelectQuery() (line 312 of /home/cavh/public_html/sites/all/modules/revslider/src/helper/RevSliderDB.php).

Are you sure uninstall old modules before update?

Hi it turned out I hadn’t properly unistalled the module before removing the module files. Is it designed to be used with a particular admin theme? The admin section does not seem to be loading properly for me.

I’m trying to do upgrade for my client.

How to export / import sliders from 4.x to 5.x ? I have an error during import from 4.x:
Exception: slider_export.txt does not exist! in RevSliderFunctions::throwError() (line 446 of /sites/all/modules/commercial/revslider/src/helper/RevSliderFunctions.php).

If I unzip the archive, change the name of the txt file to the slider_export.txt and archive it again, I have an following error on import:
Exception: Wrong export slider file format! Please make sure that the uploaded file is either a zip file with a correct slider_export.txt in the root of it or an valid slider_export.txt file. in RevSliderFunctions::throwError() (line 446 of /sites/all/modules/commercial/revslider/src/helper/RevSliderFunctions.php).
