  to update Visual Composer plugin:
  
  1. Delete plugin.
  
  2. Go to Appearance->Install plugin to reinstall.

  You don’t need the file.zip
  
  after delete Visual Composer plugin you just go to Appearance->Reinstall and click install that plugin, it will be automatically update.
